The more testosterone, the easier it is to lose weight. As children, boys and girls generally have the same body fat composition. As males go through puberty, they start to develop more muscles and lower body fat composition, while females increase their body fat composition as they store it in their hips, breast and generally throughout the body as they prepare for child birth. As men grow older, their testosterone begins to dip and their body fat composition increases. So it's not just caloric input and output that matters. It also depends on hormones such as testosterone and insulin levels which determines what our bodies do with the caloric intake. Should you take testosterone? Please consult your medical provider for guidance on this issue as there are risks and benefits to using it.
